[When the video feed clicks on Kakashi's face is completely blank. Well, what can be seen of it anyway.]

That idiot, Obito, has left. If you don't want whatever he sent you, then send it to me.

[A bit of a long pause.]

[Kakashi's wandered away for a while. At first he just walked. Walked and walked without purpose, without aim. Then finally, he stopped. Sorry Neji but he just disappeared on you for a few hours.]

[That's...actually...not a problem. He was annoyed, angry, and upset didn't really want company when he woke up to find pokemon in his box and a letter instead of his companion.

A companion, it seemed, who simply ceased to exist. Instead the youth would take another path and become the shinobi he'd promised to kill...and who had eventually killed him. He would like to believe that Obito might be influenced by his time here, but he is not so naive. The past is the past, and the friend that he made in this place no longer exists.

Thus, he makes no effort to hunt Kakashi down. Neji will be at the room, sitting in quiet meditation with a distracted Medicham whenever Kakashi does eventually return.]

[With no one to come after him Kakashi takes his sweet time getting back to the inn. He enters the room quietly and takes up a spot on the floor by the wall.]

He wanted us to divide his belongings up.

[There is no reaction to Kakashi's arrival until the boy finally speaks. While Tenten and Lee had very outward and immediate reactions to grief, Neji's own reactions usually tended toward quiet and inward.

And anger.]

Many of his belongings are trash he chose to drag with him. Asking us to divide it up is undoubtedly his poor form of humor.

[These two might be volatile together without the buffering factor of Obito. If Kakashi was older maybe, with the years between Obito's death and meeting Neji for the first time they would be better suited to handle this.]

So we'll throw them out and divide what remains.

[Well. Perhaps they'll be motivated to do something without someone there to buffer their...personalities. Whether that's anything productive, however, is debatable.]

I suppose if we refuse to, he'll only find a way to haunt us.
